School Resource Officer


The School Resource Officer program is a collabrative effort by law enforcement officers, court personnel, educators, students, parents, and the community, in an effort to reduce crime, drug abuse, violence and provide a clean, safe, and secure learning environment for everyone.


Officer Steve Fiore and Officer Tim Mezza are the School Resource Officers. Officer Fiore has an office at Beverly High School and Officer Mezza is stationed at Beverly Middle School. Both Officers are tasked with assisting schools with criminal matters and quality of life issues. Their responsibilities include gathering information about activity within both the schools and neighborhoods that may negatively impact the peace, safety, and security of the schools, its students, and staff.
