Search Warrant of Computer Business Leads to Several Drug Charges

 

12/1/20: On November 19, 2020 members of the Beverly Police Drug Control Unit, after a two week long investigation into a suspected drug distribution enterprise being run out of a computer business on Rantoul Street executed a search warrant recovering a large amount of narcotics, and arresting the business owner. Richard T. Best Jr. 43, of Beverly and the owner of TECH1PRO located at 261 Rantoul Street was charged with 3 counts of Possession to distribute Class B (Methamphetamine, Adderall, LSD), Possession to distribute Class D (Marijuana), 3 counts Possession to distribute Class C (Psilocybin, THC, Hashish) and Possession to distribute Class E (Alprazolam). During the search, detectives recovered approximately $42,000.00 in drugs and cash which included approximately 10 pounds of Marijuana, and approximately 205 gold coins. Best was held on bail until his arraignment at Salem District Court.
