Public Information and Education Unit
Officer Michael Boccuzzi is the current Public Information and Education Officer and handles the day to day repsonsibilities of the position. Duties include the timely release of important information to the community through the local media, the department website, and social media outlets. Officers David Costa and April Clarizia are also Public Information Officers and assist as needed.
The Beverly Police Department uses social media sites like Facebook and Twitter to keep citizens up to date on what is going on with the police department. There is also a Police iPhone and Android application available for citizens on the go called My Police Department or MyPD for short.
